How cookies and similar technologies are used.
Patrol Forge Multiple Company
Operated by Patrol Forge LLC
Effective Date: September 19, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Patrol Forge LLC ("Patrol Forge," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with the Patrol Forge Multiple Company platform, websites, web applications, and related online services (collectively, the "Services").
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and other applicable terms and policies.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files or similar data files that websites and web applications may store on a computer, smartphone, tablet, or other device.
Cookies can serve many purposes, including maintaining authenticated sessions, remembering preferences, improving security, understanding how a service is used, and maintaining the functionality of web applications.
Some cookies are deleted when a browser session ends, while others may remain on a device for a specified period or until deleted.
2. HOW PATROL FORGE USES COOKIES
Patrol Forge may use cookies and similar technologies where necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services.
Depending on the particular Service and features being used, cookies or similar technologies may be used to:
Authenticate Users;
Maintain login sessions;
Keep Users securely signed in;
Maintain session state;
Remember User preferences;
Apply security protections;
Detect potentially unauthorized activity;
Prevent fraud or abuse;
Support multi-factor authentication and related security features;
Maintain account and company context;
Support application functionality;
Remember cookie preferences;
Diagnose technical problems;
Measure Service performance; and
Understand general usage of our websites or Services.
The specific cookies and technologies used may change as the Services develop.
3. STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES
Strictly necessary cookies are cookies required for the Services to operate properly or securely.
These cookies may be used for purposes such as:
User authentication;
Session management;
Security;
Fraud prevention;
Request verification;
Load balancing;
Maintaining application state;
Remembering privacy or cookie choices; and
Providing functionality specifically requested by a User.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent portions of the Services from functioning properly.
Where permitted by applicable law, strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent because they are necessary to provide or secure the Services requested by the User.
4. FUNCTIONAL COOKIES
Patrol Forge may use functional cookies to remember choices or settings that improve a User's experience.
These may include preferences relating to:
Application settings;
Display preferences;
Interface configuration;
Previously selected options; or
Other User preferences.
Disabling functional cookies may cause certain preferences to be forgotten between sessions.
5. ANALYTICS AND PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGIES
Patrol Forge may use analytics or performance technologies on certain portions of its websites or Services to understand how those Services perform and how they are used.
Such technologies may collect information such as:
Pages viewed;
Features accessed;
Approximate session duration;
Browser type;
Device type;
Operating system;
Referring pages;
General interaction information;
Error information; and
Performance information.
Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics technologies will be used only after any required consent has been obtained.
Patrol Forge may configure analytics services to limit unnecessary collection where reasonably practicable.
6. ADVERTISING AND CROSS-SITE TRACKING
Patrol Forge does not use cookies to sell personal information.
Unless expressly disclosed through an applicable cookie notice or consent interface, Patrol Forge does not use the authenticated Patrol Forge Multiple Company platform for third-party behavioral advertising.
If Patrol Forge introduces advertising, cross-site behavioral tracking, or similar technologies in the future, this Cookie Policy and any applicable consent mechanisms will be updated as appropriate.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Certain portions of the Services may rely upon third-party providers that use cookies or similar technologies to provide functionality.
These providers may include, depending on the features implemented:
Hosting and infrastructure providers;
Authentication providers;
Security and fraud-prevention services;
Analytics providers;
Payment processors;
Customer-support systems; or
Other technology providers necessary to operate the Services.
Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.
The presence of a third-party integration does not necessarily mean that the third party is permitted to use Patrol Forge customer information for independent advertising or unrelated purposes.
8. AUTHENTICATION AND SECURITY
Because Patrol Forge Multiple Company is a business software platform, certain cookies or similar technologies may be important to authentication and account security.
These technologies may help Patrol Forge:
Determine whether a User is authenticated;
Associate requests with the correct session;
Protect against cross-site request forgery and similar attacks;
Detect suspicious login activity;
Maintain security settings;
Support multi-factor authentication;
Prevent unauthorized session reuse; and
Protect customer and User information.
Users should not attempt to manipulate, forge, reuse, or circumvent authentication or security cookies.
9. LOCAL STORAGE AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
In addition to traditional browser cookies, Patrol Forge may use technologies such as:
Local storage;
Session storage;
Authentication tokens;
Device or browser storage;
Server-side session identifiers; and
Similar technologies.
These technologies may perform functions similar to cookies and are covered by this Cookie Policy where applicable.
For simplicity, references to "cookies" in this Policy may include these similar technologies unless the context indicates otherwise.
10. MOBILE AND DESKTOP APPLICATIONS
Native mobile or desktop applications may not use traditional browser cookies in the same manner as a website.
Instead, these applications may use authentication tokens, secure device storage, application identifiers, local application storage, or similar technologies necessary to maintain sessions, preferences, security, and application functionality.
Information collected through the Patrol Forge mobile or desktop applications is governed by the applicable Privacy Policy regardless of whether a traditional browser cookie is involved.
11. COOKIE DURATION
Cookies may be either session cookies or persistent cookies.
Session cookies generally expire when the User closes the browser or ends the applicable session.
Persistent cookies remain on the device for a specified period or until deleted.
The duration of a particular cookie depends on its purpose. Patrol Forge seeks to retain cookies only for as long as reasonably necessary for their intended function, subject to applicable legal, security, and operational requirements.
12. MANAGING COOKIES
Most web browsers allow Users to manage cookies through browser settings.
Depending on the browser, Users may be able to:
View stored cookies;
Delete cookies;
Block certain cookies;
Block all cookies;
Limit third-party cookies; or
Configure notifications when cookies are being set.
Browser controls vary by browser and device.
Blocking or deleting certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Services. In particular, blocking authentication, security, or session cookies may prevent a User from signing in or using portions of Patrol Forge Multiple Company.
13. COOKIE CONSENT AND PREFERENCES
Where required by applicable law, Patrol Forge may provide a cookie banner, preference center, consent mechanism, or similar tool allowing Users to make choices regarding non-essential cookies.
Where such controls are available, Users may generally modify their preferences through the applicable cookie settings interface.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before consent was withdrawn.
Strictly necessary cookies may remain active when required to provide, secure, or maintain Services requested by the User.
14. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Some browsers provide "Do Not Track" or similar signals.
Because there is not necessarily a uniform legal or technical standard governing all such signals, Patrol Forge may not respond to every browser-based Do Not Track signal in the same manner.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, Patrol Forge will seek to process such signals as required by applicable law.
15. PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on applicable law and the User's jurisdiction, individuals may have rights concerning personal information collected through cookies or similar technologies.
Information about applicable privacy rights, how Patrol Forge processes personal information, and how privacy requests may be submitted is provided in the Patrol Forge Multiple Company Privacy Policy.
16. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS AND AUTHORIZED USERS
Patrol Forge Multiple Company is primarily intended for business use.
In some circumstances, a User's organization may control certain information processed through the Services. In those circumstances, the organization may act as the applicable data controller, business, or similar responsible entity, while Patrol Forge processes information on its behalf.
Requests concerning information controlled by a User's employer, security company, dispatch provider, or other organization may need to be directed to that organization.
17. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY
Patrol Forge may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in technology, the Services, applicable law, or our practices.
When changes are made, the Effective Date at the beginning of this Policy may be updated.
Where required by applicable law, Patrol Forge will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used.
18. RELATIONSHIP TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
This Cookie Policy supplements the Patrol Forge Multiple Company Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy provides additional information concerning how Patrol Forge collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains personal information.
If there is a conflict between this Cookie Policy and an applicable written agreement concerning the processing of customer data, the applicable agreement will control to the extent provided by that agreement.
